Flora Women's Mini Marathon 2010

On Monday 7th June over 230 ladies braved the rain to participate in the Flora Women’s Mini-Marathon for Irish Wheelchair Association. Despite the poor weather conditions our enthusiastic team of ladies were up for the task and were easy recognisable in our newly designed green vest t-shirts. Many thanks to all the IWA participants and to the volunteers who manned the IWA tent in the charity village. Some were participating to help their local Resource Centre or Branch, and others were trying to raise funds to help towards purchasing of new buses.

In order to say thank-you to all our participants we are offering two Hotel breaks to the ladies who raise the most sponsorship. Some lovely hampers will also be raffled among all participants. So please keep your sponsorship cards carefully and make sure you notify Helen Power at 01 818 6469 or email her at fund@iwa.ie about how much you have raised so that you can be in with a chance to win.
