IWA 50th Anniversary Creative Writing Competition

 

We are delighted to announce the winners and runners up in the recently held Creative Writing Competition. We thank the competition entrants for the time and effort they put into their work.

The standard was very high and in the opinion of the final judge, Michael J Farrell, every entry was a winner!

 

 

1st prize: Kevin B Clancy, Cork – Poetry

€250 cash and an invitation to a weekend Writer’s Workshop tutored by Michael J Farrell.
This entry will be published in the Summer edition of Spokeout.

 

2nd prize: Jerry O’Shea, Co Wicklow – Fiction

€100 cash and an invitation to a weekend Writer’s Workshop tutored by Michael J Farrell.

 

2nd prize: Corina Duyn, Co Wateford – Autobiographical non-fiction

€100 cash and an invitation to a weekend Writer’s Workshop tutored by Michael J Farrell.
