IWA has a range of youth services and activities around the country. We cater for young people with physical disabilities to assist them to explore their interests and interact with other young people. In this section we have listed all the activities that are being run across the country so check it out and find out what is going on in your area.
We hope the site will not only provide you with information on all aspects of our service but will also provide you with information on how take part, either as a young person, volunteer or supporter.

Ethos
The aim of the Youth Service is to enable all IWA members aged 13 to 30 years to involve themselves consciously and actively in their own development and in the development of society. The youth service activities are designed to involve our young members in their community. We are very interested in working with a lot of different groups and individuals as we want to create inclusion opportunities for the young people that we work with so that they can live life to the full.
How do young people access our service?
There can be numerous ways that young people can interact with IWA’s services, i.e. referrals from other IWA services and external agencies, word of mouth from friends and families or a young person makes the contact themselves.
Who should young people contact?
If any young person wants to find out more information or wants to get involved they should make contact with their nearest IWA Office. The full list of contacts are available here. The local office will be able to assist the young person to access an IWA activity if there is one set up locally or advise them on who to get in touch with in their community to support them to find a service they are interested in.
