The IWA gym offers everyone an opportunity to enjoy a fitness workout in a fully accessible and inclusive environment.
The Gym has a diverse membership base with membership open to IWA members, the general public, students & older adults (65+). We also accept referrals through the HSE GP Referral programme (http://www.gpexercisereferral.ie/ ), from physiotherapist’s and as follow-on out-patient referrals after cardiac rehab.
Gym is closed on all Public & Bank Holidays & for a short period at Easter & Christmas (times & dates confirmed annually)

The majority of the gym equipment is fully accessible for wheelchair users & individuals with mobility impairment. The gym houses a wide range of equipment available for all areas of training (health, general fitness, sports performance etc.) & rehab

The gym facility houses a studio which can cater for group classes.
Classes are run at various stages throughout the year in line with demand & availability. Classes are open to members and guests. There is a charge on all classes in addition to membership fee. All classes are fully inclusive.
