IWA to benefit from book about an Extraordinary Woman
Maureen Fox An Extraordinary Woman is the story of one of Cork’s most popular columnists, whose Cork Examiner columns Fox on Friday and the hugely popular Paws Awhile - “written” by her dog, Ponsonby – informed and entertained her many readers.
Through her writings and work outside the office Maureen highlighted and supported the work of several charity organisations including Irish Wheelchair Association.
This book, compiled and edited by her daughter Tanya Schleich, is packed with many beautiful stories and images, starting from Maureen's early days, her days as an actress on the stage and the charities that she championed.
Irish Wheelchair Association is one of four charity’s set to benefit from sales of the book as Tanya donating the proceeds from the book to charities that were close to her mother’s heart.
The book is available nationwide in all good bookshops for €12.99. You can also order online by visiting MaureenFox.com
