Leigh Gath – Appointed as Confidential Recipient

Leigh Gath, a well-known campaigner for people with disabilities, and Thalidomide survivor was recently named by HSE Chief Executive, Tony O'Brien as the first point of contact for people who have concerns about any aspect of disability services. The new post of ‘Confidential Recipient’ will liaise with individuals who are concerned about abuse, negligence or other mistreatment in HSE-funded services.
