Volunteer Awards Terms & Conditions 2017
The Irish Wheelchair Association Volunteer Awards is an initiative managed by Irish Wheelchair Association, trading as I.W.A. Company Limited by Guarantee and with charity status (CHY 5359). Our registered address is Blackheath Drive, Clontarf, Dublin 3.
Irish Wheelchair Association reserves the right to modify or vary the terms and conditions at any time. By making or accepting a nomination you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
All entrants (both nominators and nominees) agree that the organisers and related individuals or entities shall not be liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from participation in the Awards.
Online nominations will open on Wednesday 8th March 2017 and close at 5pm on Thursday 13th April 2017. Category winners will be notified in early May and invited to attend the IWA Volunteer Awards Gala Dinner to receive their Award.
The Overall IWA Volunteer of the Year and category winners will be publicly announced after the Awards Ceremony on 13th May 2017.
Nominations that are incomplete, ineligible, inaccurate, irregular in any way, or otherwise not in compliance with these official rules are void.
Nominees must be over 18 years of age.
Award winners, with the exception of the Corporate Nominees, must be IWA registered volunteers. Volunteers can register before the nominations are judged by the panel. Nominees must have been Garda Vetted by Irish Wheelchair Association and have received a satisfactory clearance or disclosure. Nominees can only be entered in one category per nomination form. Nominee volunteer involvement with, and contribution to, IWA will be subject to verification, as appropriate.
Volunteers can be nominated more than once but each nomination will be considered independently.
Information which is provided by nominators when they submit an entry to the Irish Wheelchair Association Volunteer Awards Programme will be held by IWA and used where necessary for the administration of the awards. Information may be held by Irish Wheelchair Association for record-keeping and research purposes. Email addresses provided may be added to an Irish Wheelchair Association mailing list, where it is possible to unsubscribe.
Decisions made by the Irish Wheelchair Association and the Judging Panel are final.
