Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) is one of Ireland's premier not-for-profit organisations which has over 50 years of experience in delivering high quality services to people in their own homes and communities throughout Ireland.
Enhanced Homecare Services
Through our Enhanced Homecare Services, IWA provides assistance to people with disabilities, older persons and able-bodied people who require additional support at home. All services provided by IWA are tailored to meet the individual’s requirements and personal needs, while enhancing their quality of life. IWA’s dedicated and committed staff, are trained to support people aged 65 and older with their personal care needs, as well as people with physical disabilities.
Deeply embedded in local communities, IWA provides a wide range of essential services in almost every county in Ireland.
We provide Enhanced Homecare Services to Older People on behalf of the HSE in the following locations:
Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Cavan, Monaghan, Galway, Mayo, Roscommon, Clare, Limerick, North Tipperary, South Tipperary, Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford, Wexford, Laois ,Offaly ,Longford ,Westmeath, Louth and Meath.
All our Personal Assistants (PAs) / Healthcare Assistants are specifically trained for the individual cases they work on and provide an extremely professional standard of support and assistance. IWA takes great pride and care to ensure that every person is matched with the most suitable PA, as it is vital to them receiving the standard of service most appropriate to their personal needs.
