Creative Writing Programme 2018

IWA is delighted to announce details of a new partnership with the Irish Writers Centre. As part of its evolving community engagement programme, the Irish Writers Centre has announced a Community Writer-in-Residence (CWIR) initiative for 2018, funded by Dublin City Council.

During a 10 week period (1 workshop a week) the Irish Writers Centre will deliver a creative writing programme for a number of IWA members who have an interest in developing their writing skills, learning creative writing techniques, and compile stories which will be showcased at the end of the programme.

Workshops will take place between April – June 2018 and will be delivered onsite on IWA’s Clontarf Campus. There will be accommodation available in the Carmel Fallon Centre for the duration of the programme.

IWA is currently seeking interested individuals and aspiring writers to submit an expression of interest to participate in this new programme. As places are limited to 12 participants there will be a selection process if there are more applicants than the allocated number.
