We would love you to join our team of cyclists taking part in our inaugural Dublin to Drogheda and Back Cycle on 6th September 2024.

This is a great way to take part in a challenge and raise funds and awareness for Irish Wheelchair Association and our amazing work. We have 30 places available – these will be snapped up very quickly so sign up today!

The cycle is:

  • Open to anyone over 18.
  • 99.1km (about 61.58 mi) distance so training is required in participants’ own time
  • Limited to 30 places for this event

  • Route Overview: IWA Clontarf, Swords, IWA Balbriggan, IWA Drogheda and back

Participants need a good working bike and safety equipment. Helmets are mandatory. This is an accessible event so people with disabilities are welcome to join.

Itinerary

  • 8am — Registration - IWA Clontarf
  • 8.30 am — Cycle brief and safety talk
  • 8.40 am — Leave IWA Clontarf
  • 9.40 am — Arrive to Green Straw Café (Swords Village)
  • 10.05 am — Leave Swords Village
  • 11.15 am — Arrive to IWA Balbriggan
  • 11.45 am — Leave for IWA Drogheda
  • 1pm — Arrive to IWA Drogheda
  • 1pm – 2pm — Lunch
  • 2pm — Leave Drogheda
  • 3.45 pm — Arrive to Swords Village
  • 4pm — Leave Swords Village
  • 5.15 pm — Arrive to IWA Clontarf – Finish Cycle

Please follow the steps below to confirm your place and pay your registration fee of €20 per person. As well as the registration fee, there is a minimum fundraising amount of €350 to be raised.
