We ended October at IWA-Sport, Clontarf with our fantastic Her Moves Event.
The event aimed to empower girls through Para Sport. Throughout the day, girls took part in activities such as Para Archery, Wheelchair Basketball and PoundFit! There was also a panel discussion sharing how girls can be empowered to develop and hone their skills through Para Sport.
November is set to be a jam-packed month, with rounds three and four of the Irish Wheelchair Basketball League taking place in Nord Anglia International School, Ballybrack and St. Keiran’s College, Kilkenny.
The juniors will also be back on court when they take part in the 3rd Junior Blitz of the season at IWA-Sport, Clontarf.
On November 16th, the Para Powerlifting National Championships come to IWA-Sport, Clontarf. Ireland’s top Para Powerlifters will compete in the season finale. Be sure to attend and cheer on the athletes!
For the first time since 2019, the Irish Wheelchair Rugby League will be held in Cork as the first round proper of the season gets underway! Taking place in the Upper Glanmire Community Hall, there’ll be three high intensity matches to take in. Starting at 10am, it’ll be a round not to miss!
