Disability Awareness in Schools and Youth
Building life skills and confidence for young people with physical disabilities
Are you a young adult looking to build your future and wondering what’s next for you? Perhaps you would like to find a job, learn to drive or meet new people.
Our young adult service supports young adults with disabilities to pursue their goals and build confidence with training in life skills and employability, recreation and social activities.
We create a personalised service plan around your goals and aspirations and identify the programs and supports that will assist you to achieve them. Our young adult service caters to many different needs and interests in a safe and supportive environment, both within our community centres and in the local community. We can link you with Irish Wheelchair Association’s wider services depending on your interests and needs, for example sports and wellbeing, housing, socialising and employment.
Full and part-time life skills training programmes for people with physical disabilities in Clontarf, Kilkenny and Wexford
Donations of €250 or over in a year are eligible for tax relief at 45% so your €250 is worth €362 to Irish Wheelchair Association and the people we support with physical disabilities with no extra cost to you
