IWA Named One of Ireland’s Best Employers for Fourth Year Running 

IWA is proud to be recognised as one of Ireland’s Best Employers in the Sunday Independent’s annual listing, for the fourth year running. 

This year, IWA has been ranked fifteenth, remaining in the Top 20 employers in Ireland, achieving the highest position in both the healthcare and not-for-profit sectors, a reflection of the Association’s ongoing commitment to people and purpose.

IWA is one of Ireland’s leading disability service providers and representative organisations, with nearly 2,500 employees and volunteers across the country, most of whom are working on the front line.  

According to Sunday Independent/Statista, the ranking is based on independent, anonymous feedback from over 10,000 employees across more than 1,200 companies. Questions about work-life balance, pay and work environment feature in the survey.

IWA operates a personal assistant service in every county in Ireland, a community centre service in 65 locations, a fleet of 142 accessible buses and 20 sports clubs. They offer a variety of services and programmes that support people with disabilities to live independent lives of their choosing.
