Wins for Rebel Wheelers, Kingdom Wheelblasters & Killester WBC on Day 2 of the Senior League

Round 2 of the Wheelchair Basketball Senior League took place in Upper Glanmire Sports Centre last weekend with this round being hosted by Rebel Wheelers.

The Cork were first up in action against Limerick Celtics in a Munster derby which finished with Rebel Wheelers emerging victorious on a scoreline of 62-50. A game where Limerick Cletics really put it up to the Cork side.

Following that, Killester WBC took on Galway Titan Wheelers. A good win for the Dublin side 47-24.

The final game of the day saw Kingdom Wheelblasters take on South East Swifts. The Kerry side came away with victory here with Tadhg Buckley top scoring for them with 20 points. It finished 42-29 to the Wheelblasters.

The next round of the Senior League sees Kingdom Wheelblasters hosting in mid-January in Tralee.

Last night in the InsureMyHouse.ie National Cup Quarter Final, Limerick Celtics had a good win over South East Swifts at the UL Arena. The game finished on a socreline of 49-29. Next up in the Cup is the Munster derby of Cork’s Rebel Wheelers and Kerry’s Kingdom Wheelblasters in Upper Glanmire Sports Hall.
