  1. Tell us a little about yourself

I’m in my final year of studying a Bachelor of Business in Business Administration in Munster Technological University.  I play wheelchair rugby with Rebel Wheelers, I’m also on the Irish Wheelchair Rugby development squad.  I’m a leader at Rebel Wheelers Multi Sports Club.

  1. What is your Fav sport

My favourite sport to play would have to be wheelchair rugby. I also enjoy watching able-bodied rugby too.

  1. How have you found the past two years trying to keep fit.

When I stopped playing wheelchair rugby due to lockdown, I took up running. It was hard at the start. I can run about 2-3k comfortably. I kept up the running post lockdown.

  1. What do you enjoy about training / competition.

I enjoy getting the opportunity to learn more about the sport. Seeing how I can increase my skill level, having fun with my teammates and doing the different drills.

  1. What do you enjoy about your club

Apart from playing the sport, I enjoy the social element. Getting to meet new people, making friends and catching up with my fellow teammates.

  1. What are your achievements to date.

I’ve received the MVP award for playing wheelchair rugby in 2015, 2017 and 2018. I completed a 10,000ft tandem skydive for Irish Wheelchair rugby team in 2016

  1. Where do you hope to be in 5 years.

I hope to be playing wheelchair rugby at international level. I hope to have a job which I enjoy. I hope to have travelled to a few countries

  1. What advice would you have for younger athletes.

Everyone has hard days where they want to give up. You can achieve anything. Success doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time, practice and patience.
