Rebel Wheelers, Galway Titan Wheelers & Ballybrack Bulls took the silverware on offe

Rebel Wheelers were crowned the Paddy Byrne National Cup Champions after a battling display against Killester WBC. The win meant that the Cork side had completed the treble following their wins at the Senior League and National Cup back in January.

All 9 teams were in action with all having a chance to win some silverware. The day got underway with the Green/Walsh Cup semi-finals as North East Thunder played South East Swifts and Galway Titan Wheelers took on Ballybrack Bulls. Swifts and the Bulls took the wins in 2 competitive games.

Next up were the Paddy Byrne Cup Semi-Finals. Rebel Wheelers met Kingdom Wheelblasters in a Munster derby. The Cork side had too much for the Kerry team booking their place in the final. In the other semi-final, Limerick Celtics, minus International Tiarnan O’ Donnell, faced a strong Killester WBC side with the Dublin team taking the win.

The Gerard Larkin Cup play-off ran alongside both Paddy Byrne Cup Semi’s with North East Thunder taking on Galway Titan Wheelers
