The Irish Para Powerlifting Championship Nationals take place in IWA-Sport HQ in Clontarf, Dublin on November 19th.

It’s the first WPPO-sanctioned event in Ireland and there’s lots of excitement building among athletes.

Among those taking part is Britney Arendse from Cavan who competed at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games. There are also two Italian Nationals competing along with 8 others from Ireland, many of whom have aspirations of qualifying for Paris 2024.

The event is open to the public so make sure to call down and watch these top-class athletes in action.
