Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) runs a completely unique Corporate Wheelchair Basketball Team Building Days at our facility in Clontarf.

The sport is played at the highest levels of performance by national teams at European, World & Paralympic level and now also domestically in national leagues across the world – enjoyed and followed by fans and players alike.

The power of Wheelchair Basketball rests not only in its ability to positively impact the lives of those who participate, but also to influence and inspire those who witness the sport first hand.

Supporting IWA by participating in our Corporate Wheelchair Basketball Experience is an extremely fun way your team can experience a fun, fast-paced, highly energetic and inclusive sport that will change attitudes and start much needed positive conversations around disability.

 Wheelchair basketball is an entertaining sport that everyone can have fun playing while building on the fundamental values of being a team.

Team experience schedule

Meet & Greet

On arrival at 10am your team will be greeted by IWA staff and served refreshments.

Disability Awareness

After refreshments a brief introduction to disability awareness will take place.

Familiarisation

Familiarisation and Break In Exercises which will help get everyone warmed up and familiar with the sport.

Wheelchair Basketball

Your team will then be involved some fun and competitive wheelchair basketball games!

Wrap Up

As the day draws to a close we can look back on some tiring and most likely competitive games as well as new insights into disability.
