Private Assisted Living Service

Irish Wheelchair Association provides a private assisted living service for people with disabilities through our company, ‘IWA at Home’.

This enables you to purchase additional assisted living support hours, on top of your existing HSE-funded service, or to have a fully-private service.

You might need this service if:

• The state-funded assisted living support you receive is not adequate to meet your needs.
• You need additional support for study, work or recreation.
• You or a loved one have high-dependency needs that have been subject to a court award to put round-the-clock support in place.
